Our Mission is to work with people who have a passion for exercise, fitness and training who understand that sport, coaching, accountability and a training environment that encourages hard work and commitment to training and nutrition are essential for living and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Our clients are diverse but have the same intentions to look, feel, move and perform to a higher level in their training, appearance, energy levels and sporting participation. ABC Gym offers an advanced training experience as well as a personal element and a team like comradery that are integral ingredients used to achieve and sustain immense results.
We are a private strength and conditioning gym who aspire to get clients to see vast improvements in their movement, mobility, strength and fitness levels.
Our mission at ABC Gym is to help people gain boundless confidence and feel great about themselves as a result of improved sporting performance, injury reduction, an improved body composition through fat burning and lean muscle development. We wholeheartedly want people who train with us to enjoy health and fitness and make it a lifestyle choice rather than those that are looking for a quick fix all of the time.
We are focussed on making strength and fitness training exciting and helping you achieve your goals in the safest healthiest way possible.
We see a mixture of people out there.
Those who are always looking for the next gimmick or fad or quick fix to sort whatever problem they have when in reality the problem is they stick to nothing and always look for a short cut and are not willing to put in the hard work.
Then there are others….exceptionally dedicated people who train hard, eat right and are willing to invest in themselves, their training and their lifestyle.
Unfortunately a lot of those people are putting in great effort but maybe they could be training in a more effective and more efficient manner.
At ABC Gym we use the latest but proven and up to date Strength and Conditioning Principles to help people get into great shape by training everybody like Athletes which is something we have great experience of and have had great success with.
You see we firmly believe that in order to get in outstanding shape you must train like those that we believe to be in outstanding shape, the elite athletes in the world.

Athletes we will help you reach your performance goals, build a robust body that can withstand the rigours of training without sustaining an injury and we have really had great success with this.
Again a lot of gyms will spout out things like that.
One major difference for us is the community of people who train with us who come together as individuals but train together and develop a team like relationship and friendship.
How Does Our System Work?
You see one thing that has changed in the fitness industry is:
Loads of gyms will train you hard!!
Loads of trainers can make you sick!!
Plenty of people are left sore all over the world after workouts!!!
The biggest thing we see is training hard for the sake of training hard but making people feel bad about themselves if they cannot do something
Making people do exercises they can't or should not be doing
Smashing them, Shouting at them....but yet not coaching or programming effective workouts to meet the individual
We are different!!!
Yes you will be left with some soreness from time to time....maybe when you first start or when the programme changes
We get people strong, we get people fit, we burn bodyfat
but we do it with a huge amount of injury prevention work
we place huge emphasis on becoming mobile
building a robust body that can withstand the rigors of tough training
we see so many people dive in gym programmes who cannot move their bodies effectively
who are not coached to use the correct technique
But we will do it by coaching you through:

proper and progressive weight lifting and strength training
and Nutrition Education
We are a Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Gym – What the Hell is that?
S&C has become a cornerstone of physical preparation for the majority of athletes and sports people in this day and age, enabling them to increase their physical performance, reduce their incidence of injury while shaping lean, mobile, robust bodies that leave them ready for the rigours that sport presents.
Basically S&C uses the latest in proven research and evidence based training methods to get Athletes in the best shape you can possibly get them in, in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
Look I could continue to beat around the bush using fancy lingo and big words around ‘science’ and so on but there will be plenty of blog posts about all that stuff.
Basically all good coaches try to get the best out of people, helping them to reach their goals.
At ABC we have worked with many leading GAA and sports teams and athletes getting them as fit, strong and mobile as possible.
You too may play sport or did once upon a time. You may like the idea of training intensely as part of a group. We understand how difficult it is to carry out the training you would like to do on your own in a commercial gym or having the motivation to push yourself when out exercising alone.
We also understand that there are many large bootcamps and underqualified personal trainers out there delivering a sub-standard service based on a ‘price it low and fill it up’ mentality.
At ABC you will get great coaching working alongside equally driven individuals who like to train hard but understand the need for that extra push, but pushed to your limits and not somebody else’s.
What makes us different then?
First we are focussed on training people in a professional manner because we are simply that; Professionals. People need to be able to move their bodies, they need to develop relative strength, they need to enhance their metabolism and that is exactly what we do.
You see while it is others goals to make you sick and sore, we would never set out to do that.
Our aim is to coach you to train to be mobile, strong and in great shape both in terms of performance and of course appearance.
Now we understand that we are not the cheapest option out there and we are not for everybody and that is fine, we can help point you in another direction too but what we can promise you is great training in a great training environment alongside others who like to invest In themselves not necessarily just financially speaking but invest their time and effort into being the best that they can be while being led by professional coaches who care about their clients wellbeing and results driven goals.
